JMeter Overview Description

In this article we will go through the multiple section of JMeter and describe the tool information. we will discuss about every component of JMeter tool in this Article so that you can hands on while working on script on JMeter about these components.
What is Test Plan in JMeter?

A Test Plan is like a Container all the test will run. Test Plan consist of  all actions and component of your script that you need to execute while performing a load Testing.

A Test Plan consist of component like Thread Group, logic controllers, sample generating controllers, listeners, timers, assertions, and configuration elements.

In JMeter at a time you can work on single Project. if you want to another project than you need to open a fresh copy of JMeter tool to work.

Further i am going to give a overview regarding some element which come under the Test Plan. In later discussion i will explain these module in detail.

Threads in JMeter: Threads basically use to put a load in JMeter Script
Config Element is basically needed for configuration what is actually  need in your test script.
Timer is basically used in you want to wait some time in between one request and another request. There are multiple timer option inside this.
Pre Processors is like do some processing before the Test script run
Post processors is like retrieve the put after test script run so it is basically processing part after test script run.
Assertions is basically used for the validation so once you get the output you want to put some validation to get the right output. 
Listener is basically is used for the Test result, formatting of Test result. 
Test Fragment is some specific segment. 
Non Test Elements are the test script which is not the part of Test.

In this section we will discuss about how to record a Test script than how we can play back that script in the browser. First we develop a  a Test Script than put a load of suppose 100 users and than run the test script again with this load while Test executing than we are getting result in performance matrices that how the Test performing in different number of users.
